This day the Sun kissed me awake the earliest it will all year and will linger more hours than any other day - here where I live in the Northern Hemisphere it is the Summer Solstice. I am grateful for the light, the Sun illuminating the land bringing to bear a fierce and relentless energy. Blessings on you who live here in the Northern Hemisphere with me, may what is illuminated in this day give us insight and wisdom, may the fierce and restless energy burn away what no longer serves us. And for those of you who live in the Southern Hemisphere blessings to you in the darkness of the Winter Solstice, may the long hours of sacred darkness give you rest and regeneration to face the growing light.
